Our Union is excited to announce that delegates can now enroll in our Delegate Training Program. This program will give delegates the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of your contracts, the grievance and arbitration process, and the law.

The winter session of the Delegate Training Program is currently underway. Please find the schedule of classes below.

IWA Classes: Winter 2026

This winter, delegate trainings for IWA Delegates will be offered in at our union's office in Midtown, Manhattan on Mondays and Wednesdays.

English

Wednesday Classes in English (4PM – 6PM):

  • Class 1: Wednesday January 14th, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 2: Wednesday January 21st, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 3: Wednesday January 28th, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 4: Wednesday February 4th, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 5: Wednesday February 11th, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 6: Wednesday February 18th, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 7: Attend one Protect our Union's Power (PUP) training (Dates will be available soon).

Spanish

Monday Classes in Spanish (4PM – 6PM)

  • Class 1: Monday January 5th, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 2: Monday January 12th, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 3: Monday January 26th, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 4: Monday February 2nd, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 5: Monday February 9th, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 6: Monday February 23rd, 4PM – 6PM

GRIWA Classes: Winter 2026

This winter, delegate trainings for GRIWA Delegates will be held in Albany and Westchester.

Albany

Monday Classes in English (4PM – 6PM) in Albany:

  • Class 1: Monday January 5th, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 2: Monday January 12th, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 3: Monday January 26th, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 4: Monday February 2nd, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 5: Monday February 23rd, 4PM – 6PM
  • Class 6: Monday March 2nd, 4PM – 6PM

Tuesday Classes in English & Spanish (4PM – 6PM) in Westchester:
