Our Union is excited to announce that delegates can now enroll in our Delegate Training Program. This program will give delegates the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of your contracts, the grievance and arbitration process, and the law.
The Delegate Training Program will consist of 7 classes. The classes will take place in-person at our Union office in Midtown. Please use the below form to sign up for the session of your choosing. Please note that seats are available on a first-come, first served basis. As the courses will get into the nuts and bolts of your contract, please sign up for the course for your specific contract.
IWA Classes: Summer 2025
This summer, delegate trainings for IWA Delegates will be offered in English at our union's office in Midtown, Manhattan on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Monday Classes in English (4PM – 6PM):
- Class 1: Monday July 28th, 4PM – 6PM
- Class 2: Monday August 4th, 4PM – 6PM
- Class 3: Monday August 11th, 4PM – 6PM
- Class 4: Monday August 18th, 4PM – 6PM
- Class 5: Monday August 25th, 4PM – 6PM
- Class 6: Monday September 8th, 4PM – 6PM
- Class 7: Attend one Protect our Union's Power (PUP) training (Various dates are available).

Wednesday Classes in English (10AM – 12PM):
- Class 1: Wednesday July 30th, 10AM – 12PM
- Class 2: Wednesday August 6th, 10AM – 12PM
- Class 3: Wednesday August 13th, 10AM – 12PM
- Class 4: Wednesday August 20th, 10AM – 12PM
- Class 5: Wednesday August 27th, 10AM – 12PM
- Class 6: Wednesday September 3rd, 10AM – 12PM
- Class 7: Attend one Protect our Union's Power (PUP) training (Various dates are available).
