Sign up for Delegate Trainings

Our Union is excited to announce that delegates can now enroll in our brand new Delegate Training Program. This program will give delegates the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of your contracts, the grievance and arbitration process, and the law.

The Delegate Training Program will consist of 7 classes. The classes will take place in-person at our Union office in Midtown. Please use the below form to sign up for the session of your choosing. Please note that seats are available on a first-come, first served basis. As the courses will get into the nuts and bolts of your contract, please sign up for the course for your specific contract.


IWA Classes: Winter 2025

This winter, delegate trainings for IWA Delegates will be offered in English on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The training for IWA delegates will be offered in Spanish on Tuesdays.


Wednesday Classes in English (12PM - 2PM):

  • Class 1: Wednesday January 29th, 12PM - 2PM
  • Class 2: Wednesday February 5th, 12PM - 2PM
  • Class 3: Wednesday February 12th, 12PM - 2PM
  • Class 4: Wednesday February 26th, 12PM - 2PM
  • Class 5: Wednesday March 5th, 12PM - 2PM
  • Class 6: Wednesday March 12th, 12PM - 2PM
  • Class 7: Attend one Protect our Union's Power (PUP) training (various dates are available).

Thursday Classes in English (3PM - 5PM):

  • Class 1: Thursday January 30th, 3PM – 5PM
  • Class 2: Thursday February 6th, 3PM – 5PM
  • Class 3: Thursday February 13th, 3PM – 5PM
  • Class 4: Thursday February 27th, 3PM – 5PM
  • Class 5: Thursday March 6th, 3PM – 5PM
  • Class 6: Thursday March 13th, 3PM – 5PM
  • Class 6: Attend one Protect our Union's Power (PUP) training (various dates are available).

  • Clase 5: martes 4 de marzo, 4PM - 6PM
  • Class 6: martes 11 de marzo, 4PM - 6PM
  • Clase 7: Asista a uno de los entrenamientos de Proteger el poder de nuestra Unión (PUP) (hay varias fechas disponibles)
