For most Americans, healthcare is a significant cost and cause of stress in their lives.
It’s common for workers to foot the bill for 20% of the cost of their healthcare plan (often hundreds of dollars per month for family healthcare), and that's just the cost of the plan. On top of that, most workers pay co-pays, steep deductibles before their insurance kicks in, and co-insurance for big procedures.
But this is not the case for the workers represented by our union.
