The Union Plus Education Foundation is accepting applications for their annual college scholarships through January 31st, 2023! The Foundation awards scholarships to active and retired members, their spouses, and their dependent children from participating unions all over the country. Division A Scholarship Renewals Awarded
A total of 16 college students who won Hotel Trades Council Division A scholarships in previous years have been awarded renewals in 2015. Under the program, Division A scholarship winners have the opportunity to receive an additional $2,000 grant for each undergraduate college year they complete with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or better.

In this edition of Hotel Voice we announce the rapidly-approaching deadline for Union Plus scholarships. This program should not be confused with the Vito J. Pitta scholarship program, which has awarded more than $7 million in scholarships to children of Hotel Trades Council members since its inception in 1987, nor should it be confused with the Hotel Trades Council Division A scholarship program which last year awarded the largest amount of college grants in its history.

The Division A scholarships were awarded to Yifan Pu and others this week at a ceremony attended by students, their family members and union officers.
