OUR STRATEGIC PLAN

Stronger Contract Enforcement

Enforcing our contracts is already one of our Union’s strengths - with thousands of grievances resolved each year. But we’re striving to do even better.

Our Union is launching six initiatives designed to help us find more contract violations and resolve them more quickly. From providing delegate trainings to hiring more enforcement staff to developing brand-new, custom technology, we looked for ways to modernize our enforcement operation at every step in the grievance process. Improving Your Healthcare

Queens Health Center to Undergo Major Upgrade

The Queens Health Center will undergo major renovations starting this August. The redesign will modernize every single area of the building, from the lobby, to the pharmacy, to the meeting room spaces, to dental, to the building’s exterior. The plans include the creation of more clinical rooms, the expansion of ultrasound rooms for diagnostic imaging, and new state of the art radiology equipment. It also entails the expansion of the physical therapy clinical area by 20%. Read more...
