Our union is saddened to announce the passing of Ocnel Louissaint, a houseman at the Grand Hyatt for 16 years.

Ocnel is remembered by those who loved him as someone who was always smiling and friendly to everyone around him.

Steve Francis, a friend since 2002, remembers how “Ocnel was always making jokes. He was such a cheerful, easy-going person to spend time with. We used to talk a lot about basketball. He was a huge fan of LeBron James.”
