Njomza began her union journey as a Front Desk Agent at the Redbury in 2010. A former Red Cross worker who has always been drawn to service, Njomza recognized early on that the wages, healthcare, and fair treatment she experienced on the job were no accident – she had the union to thank. Inspired, Njomza made it her mission to contribute to building our power by bringing her coworkers, friends and family to volunteer with our union. Now a Senior HEAT Supervisor on union staff, Njomza is driven to ensure every union member understands where our power came from and how to defend it. She is a regular on the bullhorn, leading chants at actions, has mobilized thousands of members, and educates members and delegates at union trainings. Njomza believes our contract is nothing short of the American Dream, and she’s committed to fighting for it.
