The 2023 Greater Regional Industry-Wide Agreement

April 4, 2023
GRIWA 2023 Cover

We are proud to announce that we have won a new Greater Regional Industry-Wide Agreement ("GRIWA") contract. The new GRIWA provides the largest wage increases in any renewal contract in our union’s nearly 100-year history. And the achievements aren’t limited to wages – the GRIWA also breaks new ground by addressing problems that our members face outside of work, including the skyrocketing cost of child care, lack of affordable housing, need for paid family leave, and access to free lawyers – all while protecting your healthcare, pension, and other benefits in the contract.

Learn More About Your New Contract!

HTC President Rich Maroko reviews the highlights of the new GRIWA contract – including several historic new provisions – in the video above. You can also read the highlights and contract by clicking here.

Next Steps:

Union staff will be visiting your hotels and casinos over the coming weeks to review the new agreement in-person. Dates and time will be announced soon — click here to sign up for union text alerts to be notified. Review the list of shops below to see the status of the new GRIWA at your hotel / casino. Congratulations!
