Lydia Diana

Senior HEAT Supervisor

In 2019, Lydia was working as a Front Desk Agent at a non-union hotel when she and her coworkers were illegally fired for organizing the union. After experiencing the difficulty of working in a non-union hotel firsthand, Lydia found purpose in helping others change their lives. In 2021, Lydia joined our union’s external organizing team, where she helped non-union workers join our union. In 2023, she started working in our union’s HEAT department. As a Senior HEAT Supervisor, Lydia has led major events like the Labor Day Parade and union rallies. She has also taught delegate trainings and led voter mobilization efforts in swing districts. Now, she is hard at work ready- ing our membership for the contract fight ahead.
