Room Attendant Stefanie Luque from Springhill Suites Newark Liberty International Airport welcomed the birth of her son, Isaias Luque, on December 5, 2022.

Retirement announcements
With the satisfaction that her children and grandchildren are all grown up and gratitude for the conditions the union contract provided her during her 30-year career, Linda Jones, Housekeeper at the Algonquin, has announced her retirement. Linda has started traveling domestically, and she looks forward to upcoming cruises with her sister. Linda is also planning to visit some international destinations, including Jamaica and Australia.
Pastry Chef Ezequiel Gomez is retiring from the New York Hilton after 36 years with our union. Before the New York Hilton, Ezequiel served many years as a Delegate at the Waldorf=Astoria. Ezequiel plans to enjoy his time with his wife and children, and delight them with his presence and desserts. Ezequiel retires with a love for the union, that he feels will stay with him beyond retirement.
