Senior HEAT Organizer

Beatriz first joined our union in 1993 as a Room Service Order Taker at the New York Hilton. Soon aer, Beatriz became a union delegate, where she would advocate fearlessly and vocally for her coworkers. During the 2006 contract fight with Hilton, Beatriz led her coworkers as a HEAT CAPTAIN. In 2008, Beatriz joined our union’s staﬀ, where she has worked in various roles. As a Senior HEAT Organizer, Beatriz educates members about our union’s contract and the importance of getting involved to keep our contract strong. As the union prepares for the 2026 contract fight, Beatriz is focused on building HEAT TEAMS and ensuring union members are informed, engaged, and ready to fight, if we have to.
