At the High School for Mathematics, Science and Engineering, Aisha serves as a Student Equity Ambassador, leads eﬀorts to improve the school’s social justice climate and inclusivity and is the Captain of the Cheerleading Team. She is currently an Intern at the ICAHN School of Medicine’s Center for Excellence in Youth Education programs in the field of biotechnology, has volunteered as a Teacher’s Assistant for the East Harlem Tutorial Program and has interned as a teen volunteer at DOROT, working and connecting with elderly members of the community.
