I have been informed by the Administrator of the Industry-Wide Health Benefit Fund that our Union Health Centers in New York City are expected to have the ability to do testing for the coronavirus by the end of this week.
New Weekend Pharmacy Hours
In an effort to protect members and Health Center staff, and to make sure that healthcare professionals are where they are needed most, the hours of each Health Center and Health Center pharmacy have been reduced. These reduced hours will allow for Health Center staff to rotate their schedules, which will help limit the risk of infection. The new hours began in March and will continue until further notice. The event targeted the well being of seniors as a whole while also devoting time to individuals, those that participated visited their respective Health and Dental Centers giving each of them the opportunity to speak personally with doctors, dentists and other health care professionals.
