Stanislaw Kulma, a Mechanic at the Watson, has retired after 18 years in the Union. He first began working at the Watson in 1998, when it was known as the Holiday Inn Midtown, and was proud to be there when it first became Union in 2004. Stanislaw is looking forward to spending his retirement resting and enjoying more time to himself.
Mohammad Harun, a Room Attendant at the Marriott Downtown, has retired after working at the hotel for 28 years. He first was a Banquet Server for 16 years before becoming a Room Attendant. Before joining the hotel industry Mohammad was a seaman from Guyana and traveled all over the world for ten years. He is a devoted practicing Muslim and goes to the mosque every Friday. He also looks forward to spending time with his smart, 2-year-old grandson, as well as cooking curry dishes and watching nature shows.
Jolanta Popko, a Room Attendant at the Martinique NY on Broadway, has retired after over two decades as a Union member. Before the Martinique she also worked at the Radisson JFK, which was then known as a Holiday Inn. She looks forward to spending more time with her son as well as gardening and growing flowers, depending on the season.

After nearly three decades, Norma Miller, a Housekeeping Uniform Control at the Millennium Broadway has retired. Norma is looking forward to enjoying her life, her peace and quiet and reading her Bible. She hopes to visit her native island St. Vincent to spend time with family and visit the beach. She is also planning to spend more time with her three sons and 12 grandchildren.
