At Brooklyn Technical High School, Jiayi is a member of the Outreach Club, the Vice-President of the Mahjong Club and a member of the Paw Patrol. Outside of school, she is a volunteer tutor helping elementary school children, a paid teacher at the Elite Learning Goup, Inc. and is a Student Community Volunteer for the SYEP NYCID Younger Youth Program. Her interests include crocheting, sewing, reading, writing, volleyball, photography and jewelry making. Jiayi will attend Stony Brook University majoring in Biochemistry.
