At Bethpage High School, Amashi is a member of the National Honor Society, the Science Honor Society, the Math Honor Society, a member of the Robotics Club and is Treasurer of the Mock Trial Club. Her outside activities include working as a summer Camp Counselor, instructing STEM Workshops, working in her family’s business and interned in the Teaching Hospital at Ratnapura. Amashi is the overall winner of the 2023 and 2024 Annual HTC Writing Contest. She will attend Stony Brook University and major in Chemical Engineering.
