For our Union, and our members, we find ourselves in the midst of what are undoubtedly the darkest days in the 82-year history of our Union. Our industry is almost entirely closed down, something that has never happened before — not during the Great Depression of the 1930s, not during the world wars, and not after the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Mario Gabelli Donates Additional $100,000 for This Year's Scholarships!
In February, Mario Gabelli contacted our Union to ask how the union's scholarship program was doing in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, Mr. Gabelli donated an additional $100,000 for this year's awards. To date, he has contributed a total of $451,000 to HTC's scholarship fund! Read more...
