On April 29, 2015, 116 workers from the Marriott’s The New York Edition voted by an overwhelming 88% majority to join HTC. The Edition is located on 5 Madison Avenue directly across from Madison Square Park.

HTC invites DNC to choose Brooklyn!

The Democratic National Committee “DNC” announced in November that they will host the 2016 Democratic National Convention in either Brooklyn, Philadelphia, or Columbus. Delegates to the 2016 Democratic National Convention will select the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee. HTC President Peter Ward urged the DNC to chose New York City for the 2016 Democratic National Convention. “New York City’s unionized hotel industry embodies the Party’s ideals of shared prosperity and a vibrant middle class,” Ward commented.
