Many members have been volunteering their time helping our Union with various activities to keep us strong. These activities have included canvassing, leafleting during political campaigns, phone banking and other tasks, and all of them are important to our Union as a whole.

Prizes Awarded in 2020 Writing Competition

The Coronavirus pandemic has staggered our industry and our country, but has not in any way diminished the talent and creativity of the children of our Union's members. This much was obvious from the essays and narratives submitted to the Union's annual writing competition. 2024 College Scholarship Winners

The Union’s scholarship program is one of the hard-won rights that members fought for during the 1985 city-wide strike. In the decades since, the program has awarded over $10 million to cover the education expenses of more than 1,200 children of HTC and Local 6 members. Read more...
