Mayor Bill de Blasio has asked HTC President Peter Ward to serve on New York City’s Labor and Workforce Advisory Council and the Advisory Council for the Arts, Culture and Tourism. Mayor de Blasio established ten advisory councils, which will advise the Mayor on how to re-open New York City and focus on issues such as the protective equipment needed to safely re-open each industry.
