Honoring the heroes working behind the scenes at NYC hospitals

This article honors the all too often invisible and unseen, non-medical staff who have put their lives on the line in order to keep New York City’s hospitals up and running during the Coronavirus outbreak. The New York Times pays tribute to the countless security guards, cooks, supplies clerks and cleaning staff who are working on the front lines and especially those that have been lost during this crisis.

We wanted to take a moment to thank all of the workers in all of the hospitals in our larger area, who are truly putting their lives on the line. We especially wanted to honor the workers who— much like our members in the hotel, gaming and service industries—do the ‘invisible’ work behind the scenes and without recognition.
