St. Regis Room Attendants received $159,000 in back pay this month, after the Union claimed that management had violated the contract regarding layoffs and recalls. The $159,000 was split between 37 room attendants, with some receiving checks for more then $7,000, $8,000 and even $10,000. Many of the room attendants are seen here receiving their checks. On the left are Local 6 Rank and File Representative Robert Clarke and Room Attendant Delegate Maryse Louissant, who was very helpful in resolving the case.
