Two more Sam Chang hotels set to open soon

Two more Sam Chang hotels, part of a tri-hotel complex in Staten Island, are scheduled to open in December and January. Chang has built dozens of hotels in Manhattan and the outer boroughs, all of which present challenges to the union's high density in New York City. If new non-union hotel development continues unbridled, the union's fight for strong contracts will become increasingly difficult.
