Times Square a hotbed of activity for new hotels

Hotel development in and around Times Square abounds.

New and varied hotels have recently opened, among them Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites, and the Distrikt Hotel New York City. Others like like the 607-room InterContinental New York Times Square, the Element New York Times Square West, the five-star Chatwal New York, and the Cassa Hotel and Residences are set to open this summer and fall.
