Remembering Former Local 6 President Michael Simo

Former Local 6 President Michael Simo, a major force at our union for more than 20 years, passed away on December 17, 2012. His death, after a battle against cancer, leaves everyone at the union shocked and profoundly saddened. Michael was 66 years old.

"It is impossible to find the words to describe the sense of loss I and many others are experiencing because of Michael's death," Peter Ward said. "We have lost a strong leader, a great humanitarian and a true friend."
