“Powerful Hotel Trades Council backs Eric Adams for NYC Mayor” – NY Post
On March 2nd, we announced our endorsement of Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams for Mayor of New York City. The news made the NY Post, which described our union as “potent” and spoke highly about our mobilization efforts.
“The city’s executive leadership over the next few years will be extremely consequential for all New Yorkers, especially hotel workers, who have been hardest hit by the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.” HTC President Rich Maroko told the Post.
“I was raised by a working mom in a blue collar household — so I am deeply honored by the support of a union like HTC that has done so much for working people,” Eric Adams said about the endorsement.
