Our Union Launches Election Day Smartphone Web-App for Members

This campaign season, the HEAT Department is proud to announce the Union Election Day Web-App, designed to deliver important information about the 2013 Democratic Primary Election to the members of our Union. It works just like a phone app but is web-based. The Union will send individualized links by text to members who have signed up for UBN (the Union Broadcasting Network). When you click the link your smartphone goes to the Web-App and gives you: Candidate Info, Your Polling Location, Your AD/ED number (to speed up the voting process), How to Use the Voting Machine, and more – all at your fingertips. If you haven’t yet signed up for UBN, ask your HEAT Supervisor for the simple enrollment form.
