HTC plays major role in Senate flip, Willets Point vote

The Hotel Trades Council was a major political force in securing a democratic majority in the State Senate, as well as in pushing the City Council to approve the development of Willets Point. Mr. Ward has been building up the Council's political muscle, hiring new political staff and offering indepth political training for members.
