Our friends at the Actors Fund have told us about 102 brand new, rent stabilized apartments at 540 West 53rd Street for which many Hotel Trades Council members may be eligible. The apartments will be awarded via a lottery.

The rents for these affordable studios, one, two and three-bedroom units will range from $1,091 to $3,270 per month.

The Actors Fund of America is the world’s oldest theatrical charity. It has been a long-time friend of the Hotel Trades Council, and we are grateful to them for telling us about these newly-constructed, rent stabilized, affordable apartments in Manhattan’s Hells’ Kitchen neighborhood.

The apartments are located at 540 West 53rd Street (540w53.com). The Affordable Housing Lottery for these 102 units includes elegant studio, one, two and three-bedroom residences adjacent to a community garden, with extraordinary rooftop river and city views. Historic Hell’s Kitchen offers a wide variety of cultural institutions, shopping, dining, and recreation for your family. You could live in close proximity to Central Park, the Theatre District, High Line, and Chelsea galleries, with easy access to multiple transit lines. This great opportunity is available to those who meet the income requirements. Qualifying annual house incomes from $39,292 to $172,095 are eligible.
