Aviation workers in Turkey have been engaged in a labor dispute with Turkish Airlines for over a year. The airline dismissed 305 workers who protested the Turkish government’s plan to no longer allow strikes in the the aviation sector. Turkish Airlines has refused to give the 305 workers their jobs back and continues to reject attempts at bargaining put forth from the aviation workers' union Hava-ls.
