Getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is as important as ever with the rise of the new Delta variant. It literally could be the difference between life and death. Our Union also believes that high vaccination rates among the hotel and casino workers in New York and New Jersey will further boost the confidence of tourists to return to our region and propel the hospitality industry’s recovery. As part of a campaign to encourage guests to stay at union properties – where a high percentage of members are vaccinated and there are strict safety protocols – we have designed a new union pin to advertise that we got our shots!
If you got the vaccine and want your pin, you can pick it up at any of the Union’s health centers or visit the Union’s headquarters at 707 8th Avenue, 2nd Floor. HEAT Representatives and Business Agents will also be bringing the pins into the hotels for those members that have returned to work.

The Queens and Midtown health centers are now offering walk-in vaccinations. Unvaccinated members can go to either location 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday to get their shots! You can also schedule an appointment for your preferred day and time by calling, 1-833-386-3778, press 7.
