Dues Referendum Photo Album

As we reported last week, the dues referendum vote held on July 24 resulted in an overwhelming expression of strong support for the union by Hotel Trades Council members from Albany to Manhattan and from Queens to New Jersey. The large turnout of members was inspiring, as was the nearly 9 to 1 margin of “Yes” votes over “No” votes.

As we also mentioned last week, with more than 6,500 members turning out to vote in the referendum it would be impossible to show everyone who took time to travel to one of the seven polling places to cast a ballot. But here are more photos from this historic day, to serve as mementos of the membership’s overwhelming vote of confidence in their union and in themselves.
