Division A Scholarships Photo Album

As we reported last week, $58,500 in scholarships and renewals were awarded August 13th to 26 children of members employed in Hotel Trades Council Division A hotels. It is a record amount of money for the Division A scholarship program, and when combined with this year’s Vito J. Pitta scholarship program, it means that a total of $338,500 in college grants were awarded in 2013 to children of Hotel Trades Council members! Here, in these photos, are some of the 2013 Division A scholarship and renewal recipients with family members and Union officers. They include Local 6 Secretary-Treasurer Vanessa Meade with Sara Isakharov, Vice President Harry Rygor witrh Isabella Skomial and Kevin Motta, Vice President Eddie Cedeno with Quatiasha Morris and Tasfia Showkat, Vice President Steve Miller with Nil Patel, Business Agent Dorota Lesniak with Monica Saczyk, and Business Agent Randy Sullivan with Robin Boodhan.
