Hotel project in downtown Brooklyn gets stimulus money

A 117-room hotel on the corner of Tillary and Flatbush in downtown Brooklyn is one of five development projects city officials have selected to receive stimulus money. Without the stimulus money, the project never would have gotten off the ground. However, by accepting the money, construction must be underway by the end of 2011 or the developers could lose the financing.
