HTC and its members work hard for their candidates

The Hotel Trades Council continues to campaign with a well organized effort made up of volunteers from its membership. Members are working on multiple fronts to support the candidates the union has endorsed. Since early July, members have been phonebanking four nights a week and canvassing in selected neighborhoods every weekend. In addition, the union has been sending out a series of pre-primary mailings in a number of key races. The hotel workers' union has proved that when it focuses its resources and efforts toward achieving a goal, be it negotiating a strong contract or electing a particular politician, it's an unstoppable force in New York City. All phonebanking, canvassing, and mass mailings will continue as the Democratic primary campaign nears its finish.
