Three leading contenders fight for lease to run Tavern on the Green

According to a recent article in the New York Post, the three frontrunners in the contest to run Tavern on the Green are the current owner, an owner of two high-profile Manhattan event spaces, and the owner of the Boathouse in Central Park. While the current owner, Jennifer LeRoy, has proposed renovating the Crystal Room if she wins the lease, Seth Greenburg, who owns event spaces Capitale and Espace, says he would incorporate eco-friendly technology into the restaurant. Finally, Boathouse-owner Dean Poll says he would do a complete overhaul of the restaurant if he were to win the right operate the restaurant.
