The Vito J. Pitta scholarship program and the Hotel and Gaming Trades Council Division A scholarship program are now accepting applications for the 2024 awards. Since the start of the Union’s scholarship program over 37 years ago, it has provided over 1,100 of our members’ children with the financial support necessary to pursue their dreams of a college education. Last week, our Union’s leadership announced a new Greater Regional Industry Wide Agreement (“GRIWA” for short) for nearly 7,000 members who work in Northern New Jersey, Westchester, Upstate New York, and Long Island.
