Members Testify at North Bergen Airbnb Hearing
Hotel Voice, February 21, 2017 - On February 2, 16 members of the Hotel Trades Council attended the Board of Commissioners meeting in North Bergen, NJ, to express their support for a resolution the town was considering to regulate Airbnb rentals. HTC Members Support Shuttle Bus Drivers in Newark
Hotel Voice, February 3, 2017 - On Friday, January 20th, 65 HTC members turned out to a rally in Newark, NJ, in support of our brothers and sisters at Local 108, RWDSU. At the time, Local 108 was in a contract fight with Gateway, a shuttle bus company. The company’s shuttle bus drivers earn low wages and had not seen a wage increase in five years. [more...]

Members Can Enroll in 401 (k) Plan from November 28 Until December 16
Hotel Voice, November 21, 2016 - One of the two annual enrollment periods for the Union's 401 (k) program is taking place between Monday, November 28 and Friday, December 16, and members looking for a more secure retirement are urged to consider joining this benefit.
