Union Wins Back Pay at Intercontinental Times Square

March 11, 2016 3:00 PM

The banquet servers at the Intercontinental Times Square seen here are receiving checks for back pay after the Union intervened over a wage issue. The back pay was for the hotel’s failure to pay contractual wages and fees for certain functions. In addition to back pay, the situation was corrected on a going forward basis, with the Union ensuring that the members are now receiving the correct wages and fees.  In addition to the banquet employees in this photo are Local 6 Business Agent Randy Sullivan, HTC Grievance Manager Joseph Messineo and HTC Executive Vice President and General Counsel Richard Maroko.
