Union Wins $250,000 in Back Pay at Resorts World

These employees at Resorts World Casino are $250,000 wealthier as a result of action taken on their behalf by the union. The money represents back pay that Resorts World agreed to provide in order to avoid arbitration in a case where the union charged that the company had violated the seniority and overtime provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. Nearly 100 workers shared in the distribution of the $250,000 in back pay. It was the second large settlement with Resorts World Casino in the last year.
