Yet another new hotel for Manhattan

According to articles in the New York Observer and Citybiz Real Estate, a new hotel will rise at 523-525 Greenwich Street, between Spring and Vandam Streets. The site was reportedly sold to Fortuna Realty Hotel Soho LLC for $12.7 million. The building planned will have 20+ stories and 124 rooms. Bordered by SoHo, Tribeca, and the West Village, the site is considered to be a particularly desirable location for a hotel.
