The Paramount, an HTC hotel, is landmarked

The Paramount Hotel on West 46th between 7th and 8th Avenues has had landmark status bestowed on it by the city's Landmarks Preservation Commission. The 600-room hotel was opened in 1928, and it has undergone an extensive renovation under owner Ian Schrager that was completed earlier this year.
