Rainbow Room seeks new operator

The Rainbow Room has been on the hunt for a new operator since the Cipriani family closed the restaurant July 31. Tishman Speyer, the landlord for the property, is currently seeking someone to take over the lease and reopen the restaurant but has not yet named anyone. Employees at the Rainbow Room are members of the Hotel Trades Council, and the union will be in negotiations with whoever takes over the restaurant.
