The Hotel Trades Council, AFL-CIO, is the union for hotel and gaming workers in New York and Northern New Jersey. The union is currently seeking applications for the following position within its Operations Department: Operations & Mac IT Support Assistant. We look to hire the best of the best and so are always accepting applications for these positions.
The operations team works closely with the union’s organizing department as well as departments throughout the organization on program/project management, information management and analysis, logistics, research, office management, and human resources.
Successful candidates for Operations & Mac IT Support Assistant will have a cooperative attitude and strong aptitude for learning quickly, with the ability to identify what they need to know and take the initiative to seek out relevant resources. They will have the ability to grow in this role and take on increased responsibility. They will think creatively to solve problems efficiently, be flexible and organized, and pay thorough attention to details. They should be able to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate effectively with staff, volunteers and members.

Any successful Operations & Mac IT Support Assistant who distinguishes him/herself, demonstrates commitment and resourcefulness, and develops an understanding of the union and its operations will have numerous opportunities for advancement in a number of interesting and challenging areas.
Salary and Benefits
Starting salary will be $37,000 - $45,000, depending on experience.
